Stephen Curran is a devoted husband and father of two young children. He lives with his family in Central Lonsdale, where he practices business law. Stephen has practised law for more than two decades, beginning his career in New York City before returning to Canada in 2010.
In the 2025 federal election, Stephen was the Conservative Party candidate for North Vancouver–Capilano, earning the strongest Conservative result in the riding in over a decade.
Today, Stephen is running to become the next Member of Parliament for North Vancouver–Capilano because he believes this by-election is an opportunity for local residents to send a strong message to the Liberal government in Ottawa.
As he speaks with families, seniors, and small business owners across the North Shore, Stephen hears the same concerns again and again: the rising cost of living, growing challenges around crime and public safety, uncertainty surrounding property rights, and years of neglect of critical local infrastructure.
Stephen believes North Vancouver–Capilano deserves a strong local advocate who will stand up for taxpayers, defend property rights, support safe communities, and fight for the infrastructure investments our growing region needs.
He is also committed to standing with the North Shore’s vibrant Persian community. Stephen supports stronger action against foreign interference, the removal of agents of the Iranian regime from Canada, and decisive measures to combat money laundering and other criminal activities that undermine public confidence in our institutions.
Drawing on more than twenty years of legal and business experience, Stephen is committed to bringing practical solutions and principled leadership to Ottawa. He believes Canada’s prosperity depends on economic growth, fiscal responsibility, and creating opportunities for families to get ahead.
He is running to ensure the voices of North Shore residents are heard and to help build a more affordable, safe, and prosperous future for the next generation.
